FDA Draft Guidelines Call for Gluten Labeling in Medication

If you’ve ever tried to find out if your medication contains gluten, new draft guidance from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) could make drug labeling a lot clearer.   The FDA’s draft guidance, “Gluten in Drug Products and Associated Labeling Recommendations,” released Dec. 13 and available for public comment until Feb. 12, 2018, recommends voluntary labeling guidelines for oral drugs. …
